Much alofas ~ and then some

I've always said I would write a book one day on my aiga. My Uncle Le'o'o is still alive and well in American Samoa so I should take this opportunity to go and visit him and learn my culture.

Even though grandma *who was born and raised in samoa along with my mother* and taught us all the dances just never the language for so reason we picked up on the "bad" words first and much easier too.

As I was saying My uncle is living there in Samoa along with my auntie Naomi ~ his wife ~ there is so much culture there, so much history that I want to be a part of it ~ my mom would never let us tape her for she use to say "Le'i that is forbidden you must retain it ~ and then pass it down from generation to getneration" I've learned alot from her and my cousin Loa who teaches us the "new" way of Samoa my mom was taught the old way and some habits were hard to break but when my uncle roy would come up from California they would talk boy they would talk just above a whisper ~ as if we'd understand them ~ but at that point we could

for our great grandma sapiai came to Washington state and lectured her daugher *my grandmother, and her granddaughter *my mother* ~ and then proceeded to teach us samoan wouldn't speak nothing but samoan to us

I say love for my my aiga for if it wasn't for all this love that they gave, I wouldn't be the woman I am today........so with that note........I am blessed to have a huge Aiga ~ *family* and I'm greatful that i'm here on earth to serve my time ~

How blessed am I.
